Solution Architect Manager, The University of Auckland
I began my career on the ground floor at the University of Auckland’s student help desk, working as an adviser while completing my BSc (Biomed). During that time, I initiated a project to develop the University’s first knowledge base—an innovation that was later adopted across all student centres. Seeing how technology could streamline processes and improve service sparked my passion for IT, ultimately leading me to step away from my postgraduate studies in oncology to pursue a career in technology. That passion for using technology to empower people and improve outcomes has guided my career ever since.
I bring more than 15 years of leadership experience in IT, with recent roles including Agile Facilitator, Digital Development Manager, and Acting Head of Product Engineering (covering leave). Across these roles, I’ve developed high-performing teams, culture transformation, and helped our organisation modernise how we deliver value.
