Principal Security Engineer, Acumenis Cyber Security

As a Lead Security Consultant at Acumenis, JP helps organisations understand their security and artificial intelligence risks, and implement the controls and frameworks needed to strengthen their security, AI, and privacy posture. JP previously worked as an Information Security Manager at an Australian bank, where key achievements included building an Information Security team and establishing a Security Operations Centre. JP holds professional qualifications including ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 Lead Auditor, along with certifications in cyber operations, ethical hacking, incident response, and vulnerability management. JP is also an active contributor to the Information Security community through speaking at conferences, events, and podcasts, and by serving as a mentor in the Australian Women in Security Network mentoring program.
