Kim Redfern is Director, Student Engagement within Digital Business Solutions at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She leads a cross-functional portfolio responsible for delivering integrated student services and experiences across HiQ, orientation and transition, and key student engagement initiatives, including contact centre and service point channels delivered in partnership with faculties and central services.

Kim brings 18 years’ experience in higher education, predominantly within IT and digital portfolios, where she has worked across systems, service delivery, and strategic initiatives to improve organisational capability and user experience. More recently, she has transitioned into executive leadership of Student Engagement, with a focus on aligning people, process and technology to deliver scalable, student-centred services and consistent experiences across the institution.
