Mitch Adams has more than 17 years’ experience in higher education, with a background in data, analytics and organisational leadership. He is currently Associate Director, Data and Analytics at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), where he leads enterprise capability across data governance, platforms, reporting, advanced analytics and AI.

Mitch is a proponent of a partnership‑based approach to data and analytics, focused on building strong data foundations that enable the responsible use of analytics and AI at scale. His work centres on aligning corporate data capability, academic expertise and industry partners to support improved decision‑making, applied research and learning experiences that strengthen student outcomes and graduate readiness in an increasingly data‑driven world.
