Roy is the Chief Digital Officer at CQUniversity, where he leads the university’s digital strategy across ICT, Library, and eResearch services. He also holds several leadership roles across the sector, including Treasurer of CAUDIT, Board Member of QCIF, Chair of QUDIT, and Chair of the ACS Rockhampton Branch.

With over 30 years of experience in higher education, Roy is passionate about using technology to drive meaningful change. He has led major digital transformation initiatives that improve the student experience and support learning, teaching, and research outcomes.

Roy is known for building high-performing teams and delivering practical, innovative solutions using modern customer, data, and AI platforms.
