Shainal Kavar is Chief Information Officer at La Trobe University, responsible for digital strategy, cyber security, and major technology and transformation programs. Since 2022, he has repositioned Information Services as a strategic partner, strengthened governance, and led large-scale ERP and digital modernisation initiatives. He is also executive sponsor of La Trobe’s Responsible AI Accelerator and serves on the boards of CAVAL and UniMutual.
