With 25 years in IT and over a decade specialising in Identity and Access Management, Stephanie de Hoog is a recognised leader in building secure, resilient, and collaborative cyber ecosystems. Beginning her career in disaster recovery and business continuity within the federal government, she developed a strong foundation in resilience planning and risk mitigation—skills that now underpin her identity security leadership.
Today, as Identity Lead at CQUniversity, Stephanie innovates and contributes as a thought leader, leveraging cyber frameworks alongside deep technical identity expertise to elevate defense-in-depth strategies. She is a champion for community collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the higher-education and cybersecurity sectors, co-chairing the CAUDIT Identity Community of Practice and driving national discussions on the evolving role of identity in cyber resilience.
