Zaidul Alam

Enterprise Architect, CSIRO

Zaidul Alam is an Enterprise Architect at CSIRO, Australia's national science agency, where he leads technology strategy, systems integration, and enterprise architecture governance across CSIRO's digital and research environments.

Originally from Bangladesh, Zaidul holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, a master's in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, and is an MBA candidate at the University of Queensland Business School.

His career spans two decades across telecommunications, government, and research sectors, including senior roles at Huawei Technologies and the South Australian Government, where he served as Solutions Architect. He co-founded Wisecar Private Limited, a vehicle fleet management platform, and served as a board director for GovHack Australia.

His current focus is enterprise architecture in the age of AI — navigating AI-generated systems, cybersecurity governance, and the architectural demands of a national research organisation.
